Weekly Devotional Series: A space to pause and be present

R.E.S.T. Weekly

Welcome to our weekly devotional. We are so glad you are here.

Welcome, sister. You’ve found a soft place to land. We are thrilled to introduce the R.E.S.T. Weekly Devotional—a dedicated series designed especially for women who need a moment to pull away from the noise of the world. This series is intended to be your safe space. It is a weekly invitation to pause, breathe deeply, and meet God exactly where you are. Whether you are coming off a mountaintop or walking through a quiet valley, these devotionals are here to remind you that His grace is sufficient and His presence is always near. Consider this your new weekly tradition. Each week, we will explore new scriptures and reflections to help you grow in faith and sisterhood. We invite you to come back every week as we walk this journey of faith together, rooted in the peace that only He can provide. Today, your only task is to listen. You are seen, you are loved, and you are welcome here.

This month we are taking the time to reset

You have completed the first six months of the year, and you may be wondering, “Where did the time go?” You have likely been busy handling responsibilities, meeting deadlines, caring for others, and moving from one task to the next. But take a moment to ask yourself: What have you truly accomplished for the Kingdom? What have you accomplished for yourself?

Have you been so consumed by the day-to-day demands of life that you have only been surviving instead of intentionally living?

July is a time to pause, reflect, and allow God to restore what has been depleted. A reset does not mean giving up; it means returning to the One who renews our strength, restores our peace, and redirects our steps.

Throughout this month, take time to release what has been weighing you down. Make room for God to refresh your heart, renew your mind, restore your spirit, and realign you with His purpose for your life.

Reset Your Mind

Romans 12:2 - Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Our thoughts shape how we see ourselves, our circumstances, and even God. When our minds are filled with worry, fear, comparison, or discouragement, it can become difficult to recognize the hope God has placed before us. This week, invite God to reset your mind by replacing negative thoughts with His truth.

You do not have to believe every thought that enters your mind. God’s Word reminds us that transformation begins with renewing our minds. As you spend time in prayer and Scripture, ask God to help you release thoughts that do not align with His promises.

Reflection Questions:
What thoughts have been draining your peace? What truth from God’s Word do you need to hold onto this week?

Prayer:
God, renew my mind and help me see myself and my circumstances through Your truth. Remove every thought that brings fear, doubt, and discouragement. Fill me with peace, hope, and confidence in Your promises. Amen.

Obedience - Saying Yes to God

James 1:22 - Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

Weekly Reflection

"When you rest in God's presence, your character begins to reflect His heart. Transformation happens in His presence. The more time you spend with God, the more your life will reflect Him."
