Obedience - Saying Yes to God

James 1:22 - Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

It is one thing to hear God's Word, but it is another thing to live it out. Obedience is not always easy. Sometimes God asks us to step out of our comfort zones, forgive someone who hurt us, serve in a new way, or trust Him when we cannot see the outcome. Yet every act of obedience strengthens our faith and draws us closer to Him.

As Kingdom Girls, we are called to do more than listen to God's instructions—we are called to follow them. Obedience is where growth takes place. It is where our character is refined, our faith is stretched, and our purpose becomes clearer. Every "yes" to God opens the door for Him to work in and through our lives.

God does not expect perfection; He desires a willing heart. When we choose obedience, even in small things, we demonstrate our trust in Him. His plans are always greater than our own, and His guidance leads us toward His best for our lives.

Reflection:
• Is there something God has been prompting me to do that I have been delaying?
• What fears or doubts are keeping me from fully obeying Him?
• How can I take one step of obedience this week?

Prayer:
Lord, give me a willing and obedient heart. Help me to trust You even when Your instructions are difficult or uncomfortable. Remove fear, doubt, and hesitation from my life. Teach me to follow Your voice faithfully and walk confidently in Your will. May my obedience bring glory to You and draw me closer to Your purpose for my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
